A large crash was heard throughout the entirety of Manhattan. The Building began to crash around Cid and flames were engulfing it from outside. The Fire trucks were taking their sweet time in getting to the scene. It was a small apartment building, kind of old, but something else had made it go under this kind of madness... Someone was behind it. "Sh*t!" Cid yelled as another beam fell behind him. how he got here, he was unsure of but what he DID know was that he had been drugged and placed here. he almost made it to an exit before hearing a scream. With a sigh and a certain bit of reluctance, he ran towards where he heard the scream. It was a thin woman, paralyzed with fear. He grabbed her and shoved her through an exit, soon collapsing under flaming wood after. He stepped back, getting to an open space, as far aaway from fire as possible. "I Am going to die here, aren't I."

Sarina was taking her time around the falling beams and flames. She knew if she rushed that she would panic and all hope would be lost. She stumbled upon a man and a woman. "Hello? You two alright..Am I dead and burning or are you two real?"

At the sound of the crash, Riley started, toppling out of her seat. She scrambled back up, glancing around, thankful that she had decided to work the late shift and Tom wasn't there to laugh at her ridiculous-looking mishap. She walked around the counter to peer out the large, glass window at the front of the convenience store. "Jeez," she mumbled under her breath. "That's some fire." The building down the avenue was completely ablaze. Flames danced mischiviously in every window. Riley cringed as she saw a wall fall in, the rubble piling dangerously close to the other buildings. 'Where the hell are the firetrucks?' she wondered, slightly annoyed. 'Maybe I should phone in...' But then she heard the sirens coming closer and the flashing lights soon came into view. She watched the scene for a minute longer, as the firefighters leaped out of their vehicles and began unloading their hoses. Sighing, Riley returned to her stool behind the counter and picked up the magazine she had been reading.
